About the Commentaries

Jewish people in synagogues around the world read the same portion of scripture each Shabbat called a ‘parashah’ followed by a corresponding reading (called a haftorah)

As Believers in Messiah Yeshua, we also include portions from the New Testament (Brit Chadashah) and discover a beautiful harmony between the Old and New Covenants.

Living in Unity

By following this cycle of readings, which the Jewish people have followed for centuries, we gain rich insights from the Hebrew Scriptures as well as the blessings of coming into unity with our Jewish brothers and sisters around the world.

Enjoy listening to these brand new parashah podcast episodes as Hannah Nesher unpacks the Jewish roots of our faith.

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" - Psalm 133:1

Hinei matov u’manayim, shevet achim gam yachad.

הִנֵּה מַה-טּוֹב, וּמַה-נָעִים-- שֶׁבֶׁת אַחִים גַם-יָחַד

For there Adonai יְהוָה commanded the blessing, even life forevermore.”

A Messianic Jewish Commentary

This compilation of Messianic Jewish commentaries on the weekly Torah portions (Parashot) and accompanying Prophetic portions (Haftarot), satisfies the heart-felt desire of many Christians to understand the Hebraic context of our Holy Scriptures. Illustrated with pictures and written from a uniquely personal perspective, they make the Bible real and relevant to our daily lives right here and right now.

With all my heart I hope and pray that these Torah studies will be a blessing, inspiration and encouragement in your personal walk with Adoneinu (our Lord).
